A 62-year-old man who went missing on Long Island has been found.

Luke Bowen, 62, who had last been seen after being discharged from Southside Hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 29, was located on Wednesday, Oct. 30, Suffolk County Police said.

A 62-year-old man has gone missing on Long Island and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him.

Suffolk County Police have issued a silver alert for a  Port Jefferson man who is schizophrenic, suffers from seizures and may be in need of medication.

Luke Bowen, 62, was discharged from Southside Hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 29. He was last seen in the lobby waiting for a taxi and did not return to his residence, located on North Country Road.

Bowen is 5 -foot-9 and 160 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a navy blue sweatshirt and black sneakers.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about Bowen’s located to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652 or 911.
